Paul Ryan has been a faithful public servant for Wisconsin and for our country.

On Equal Pay Day, we mark the time it takes a woman, on average, to earn the same amount as a man for the same work if both had started on the first of January last year. 

Today, we remember an American prophet, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who left us fifty years ago. 

The Trump Administration’s decision to add an untested citizenship question to the Census is an attack on immigrant communities and on integrity of the 2020 Census.

I am praying today for Jaelynn Willey and her family. For everyone in the Great Mills community, these past few days have been full of heartbreak.

Mr. Speaker, I am saddened and angered that a high school in my district, Great Mills High School in St. Mary's County, was the site of most recent school shooting, of which there have been 17 just since the beginning of this year. Two students were injured; the gunman, also a student, was killed; and an entire community of parents, students, teachers and faculty has been shaken by this violence.

I’m saddened to learn of the passing of Pete Peterson. 

I was appalled and angered to learn of the shooting at Great Mills High School today.
