On National Voter Registration Day, it is important to remember that the right to register and vote was not always guaranteed or respected in our country.

I’m pleased that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held a markup today of bipartisan legislation that includes full authorization of the Information Technology Modernization Act, a bill that I introduced in April, and passed it on a voice vote.
