I’m glad that the Administration has taken this step to punish Russia for its acts of aggression. However, one-off responses like this send mixed signals when coupled with the President’s statements praising Vladimir Putin,

President Trump’s bigoted views against transgender people should not be allowed to drive our defense policies.  

I am praying today for Jaelynn Willey and her family. For everyone in the Great Mills community, these past few days have been full of heartbreak.

It is regretful that the President chose to replace an individual who has been a steady hand in dealing with foreign policy and crisis.

It is shameful that Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee chose to allow rank partisanship to cloud the investigation of Russia’s interference in our elections.

Republicans brought this 2,200-page omnibus bill to the Floor in less than twenty-four hours, violating every rule they've set for themselves and exemplifying the kind of hypocrisy they've demonstrated throughout their House Majority. 

Thank you very much Leader Pelosi. I have said many times that I believe the Affordable Care Act owes it passage, obviously to many, but to no one more than the Speaker of the House when it was passed, Nancy Pelosi.

Six months ago, Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Today, the residents of these islands, who are American citizens, are still struggling to rebuild and restore even basic services.
