WASHINGTON, DC – House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement this morning on President Trump's decision to appoint Ambassador John Bolton as National Security Advisor:
"It is regretful that the President chose to replace an individual who has been a steady hand in dealing with foreign policy and crisis.
"In selecting Ambassador Bolton, President Trump has chosen someone who will add to the uncertainty and chaos of the current Administration and who has himself created controversy and confrontation. I urge the President to reconsider this appointment."
