This morning, the President sent Congress the text of a resolution to authorize continued military operations against ISIL, in response to bipartisan calls for a new AUMF that addresses the threats we face today.  

Today’s announcement by U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman ought to be welcome news to our nation’s manufacturers and agricultural exporters.  

Too many workers are being left out in the cold, and we need to make sure we come in from the cold.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics report released today, 267,000 new private sector jobs were created in January, marking the fifty-ninth consecutive month of increases and the eleventh consecutive month above 200,000.
