Today, the House Republican leadership unveiled the legislative schedule for 2016. While Republicans have spent much of this year dealing with their own deep divisions and wasting time on partisan legislation, the American people expect Congress to pursue a positive agenda to grow our economy, support job creation, and address the challenges confronting our nation.
As a result of our strongly unified effort, House Democrats earned a major victory for American businesses and workers last week by discharging and passing the Export-Import Bank reauthorization bill (H.R. 597) with a bipartisan vote of 313-118.
Today, I was proud to join bipartisan majorities in the House in voting overwhelmingly to condemn the recent violent attacks against Israelis and to encourage the Obama Administration to work with European nations to combat anti-Semitism on that continent.
