It is sad that we [have to] bring this Resolution to the Floor, and it is sad that, too often, we see the results of terrorism around the world.

Today, I was honored to join the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus at their forum to hear from stakeholders on how we can bring an end to violence against the transgender community.

I was horrified to learn of this evening's terrorist attacks in Paris. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.
