According to a NBC/Wall Street Journal poll released today, nearly three out of four Americans agree with bipartisan calls for an independent commission to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election. Now if only GOP leaders would listen…

The Trump White House must not remember how the last shut down played out. With just four days in session before the April 28 deadline, reports indicate the White House and some Republicans are ready to shut down the government in order to fund their border wall. A look at some recent polling shows just how unpopular that would be with the American people:

It’s clear Republicans aren’t listening to constituents back home who “want this repeal crap to stop.” After pulling TrumpCare from the Floor, they are now planning a vote on a revised (read: worse) bill, just so they can say they voted on it before President Trump reaches 100 days in office.

President Trump was right when he declared that 'the longer I'm behind this desk and you have Obamacare, the more I would own it.'  

April 12^th marks 100 days of the GOP-controlled 115^th Congress. Republicans are the governing party, with majorities in both the House and Senate and control of the White House. Yet their deep division and dysfunction has resulted in chaos, incompetence, and the inability to govern.

Sean Spicer's comments today are indicative of the extraordinary lack of knowledge, perspective, and sensitivity that the Trump Administration has brought to Washington. 

I continue to be deeply disturbed by the baseless and irresponsible accusations leveled against former National Security Advisor Susan Rice by President Trump. 

It is entirely appropriate that Chairman Nunes should step aside from the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation, something he should have done days ago.
