It is abhorrent that the Trump Administration is allowing a gun-advocacy organization to publish plans online for anyone to begin 3D-printing dangerous firearms at home, at their businesses, or in schools starting in August. 
On Monday, the world witnessed the President of the United States side with President Putin over our own intelligence community, which has confirmed that Russia interfered in the election and continues to attack our democracy.
Today, during colloquy, Leader McCarthy said: “The gentleman can argue with me all day of things I vote ‘Yes’ and things I vote ‘No’ on.  The only time he'll ever see my vote up there for ‘Present’ is a quorum call.”
 
This morning, Speaker Ryan and House Republicans unveiled their latest attempt to sell the American people on the idea that they are “better off now.”
Today’s resolution, while unenforceable, is wholly inappropriate and a blatant attempt to undermine the special counsel’s investigation. 
It ought to surprise nobody that this Republican Majority has now set the record for running the most closed Congress in our nation’s history.
Mr. Speaker, a moment of silence is not enough.
