This is something Republicans on the fence need to see: Rep. Upton admits he doesn't know if his OWN amendment will fix #TrumpCare's problems with pre-existing conditions (hint: it won't).

So far it appears that the third time is NOT the charm for House Republicans trying to bring TrumpCare to the Floor for a vote. Here’s a look at how things are going:

All of the time that Vice President Pence has been spending on the House side doesn’t seem to be yielding the results that GOP leaders are looking for on TrumpCare.

Joe, you took the words out of my mouth. I don't think it's what the Democrats or Republicans want, the process won.

The bill House Republicans just passed would end overtime pay as American workers know it.

As House Republican leaders continue to scramble for votes to pass their TrumpCare bill, Speaker Ryan claimed the MacArthur Amendment would keep in place protections for Americans with preexisting conditions:

Let us get this straight, Rep.

I am disappointed to see, one more time, that the Trump Administration is undermining the confidence of the health insurance marketplaces under the Affordable Care Act.

Today, Speaker Ryan said to his Members on their TrumpCare vote: "This is who we are. This will define us."

We couldn’t agree more. If Republicans vote for a bill to:

-Take away health coverage from 24 million Americans

-Allow discrimination against Americans with pre-existing conditions

Today, House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) and Rep. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-TN) introduced HR 2285, the School-Based Respiratory Health Management Act, legislation that encourages states to help ensure students with reversible lower airway disorders, such as asthma, have assistance at school with managing their chronic disease and can excel in any environment.
