I am very disappointed that Republicans’ willful sabotage of our nation’s health care system has led Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City to stop offering insurance plans across parts of Kansas and Missouri. 

We are introducing this bipartisan resolution today to make it clear that last week’s unprovoked attack on peaceful protesters by Turkish security forces on American soil must not go unanswered and that those responsible must face justice.

Thank you Mr. Speaker. Yesterday President Trump laid out his budget request for next year.

President Trump’s budget is a litany of broken promises to the American people

Today, President Trump released his budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2018. According to press reports, Trump’s budget makes it clear that he is not fighting for working Americans and their families.

Another day, another #BrokenPromise from President Trump. In fact, his budget breaks a lot of promises he made to the American people – most importantly, the promise that he is fighting for them. Instead, they get a budget that harms working Americans in order to give a huge tax cut to the wealthiest. Here is a look at the coverage so far:
