WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today on House passage of a resolution that establishes the process and procedures for open hearings as the House moves forward with the next phase of the impeachment inquiry:
“We are contemplating changing from what is essentially the investigatory phase of this matter into the open hearing public hearing phase... In that public hearing, we want to make sure that everybody understands this is going to be due process. This is going to be fair.
