As House Republicans return to Capitol Hill today and the impeachment inquiry moves forward, we wanted to be sure you caught this bit from Politico’s Playbook PM this afternoon:
“President DONALD TRUMP urged Republicans this morning to drop their crusade on the process by which Democrats are impeaching him, and focus on the substance: ‘I'd rather go into the details of the case rather than process. ... Process is good, but I think you ought to look at the case.’”
Guess he didn’t like the “flailing,” “frantic,” “disjointed,” “running out of ideas” headlines they were getting?
