A look at the news over the weekend shows that Republicans across the country are facing fierce backlash over their support for TrumpCare. Here’s a look at what constituents have to say:
Today’s GOP Quote of the Day is brought to you by Rep. Steve Chabot on the failed TrumpCare bill. After seven years of promising to repeal and replace the ACA, the incompetence surrounding TrumpCare negotiations has surely been stunning:

It seems Democrats in Congress are not alone.
Wanted to be sure you saw Republicans in both chambers are joining Democrats in calling on Chairman Nunes’ to recuse himself from the House Intelligence Committee investigation on Russia. These Republicans agree that Rep. Nunes no longer has credibility, which underscores the need for an independent commission. Take a look at what they had to say:

“GOP centrists in the House are fleeing from their party’s ObamaCare repeal-and-replace legislation, complicating White House efforts to win passage in a vote scheduled for Thursday.”
We'll follow regular order, they said. We're going to be open and transparent, they promised. But in a last ditch effort to pass TrumpCare, House GOP leaders are negotiating in the dark of night with the House Freedom Caucus to win them over before tomorrow's vote.
Some rough headlines this morning for our Republican friends. On the day they were planning to vote on their TrumpCare bill, GOP lawmakers are still far from reaching a consensus. Despite late night back room dealing, and “small tweaks” to take away Essential Healthcare Benefits (you know, basic things like hospitalization, emergency room services, maternal care), Republican leaders cannot find the votes to pass TrumpCare. Here’s a look at how their whipping effort is playing out:
