This image says it all. In addition to a terrible CBO score, a new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation on TrumpCare found that people who buy insurance through the ACA exchanges would have to pay 74 percent more on average to get equivalent coverage. See more from Huffington Post below.

These couldn’t have been the headlines that Republicans had hoped to see this week. It’s clear the GOP is deeply divided over TrumpCare, with no path forward. It’s time for them to read the tea leaves, abandon their failed bill, and work with Democrats to improve the Affordable Care Act for all Americans.

Wanted to be sure you saw this video on how the Senate #TrumpCare bill fails the “Jimmy Kimmel test,” which Kimmel defines as being: “No family should be denied medical care, emergency or otherwise, because they can’t afford it." We’ve noticed that some outlets are reporting that individuals with pre-existing conditions will now be taken care of under the Senate’s TrumpCare bill. THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. Under the Senate bill, people with pre-existing conditions can STILL be discriminated against, as they would be under the House bill. Here’s how:

1) The Senate TrumpCare bill allow states to waive consumer protections and market reforms  – without requiring them to demonstrate that the coverage will be equally affordable and comprehensive.

Hmm, who wants to write a bill that only 16% of Americans agree with? That the Congressional Budget Office said will provide less coverage and increase prices across the board? Looks like we have two takers: House and Senate Republicans. But don’t take our word for it…
