WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement this morning concerning President Bush’s comments on the Fiscal Year 2008 appropriations bills and federal spending:

 

Yesterday, the Democratic-led House passed the Labor, Health, and Education Appropriations bill, which keeps our promise to reinvest in priorities that are essential to our future.
This week, the House has continued to make progress on issues important to the American people.
