Republicans are doing everything they can to duck constituents on their plan to Make America Sick Again. The latest examples? Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) is now requiring constituents to make appointments to visit his office. Just two days earlier, Rep. Today, Speaker Ryan tweeted a blog post from his office, titled “Poorly-crafted regulations that hurt people? Not on our watch.”

As the Trump Administration defends its unconstitutional Muslim ban in the courts, former diplomats and national security officials, as well as business leaders, are weighing in and voicing their opposition to the ban because it puts our nation and our troops at risk and is bad for business.

This week, Democrats introduced legislation to repeal the Trump Administration’s Muslim ban, which is unconstitutional and makes American less safe.

The wide impact of this ban should be deeply concerning to all Americans. This ban is not only dividing families and violating our highest principles, it is also making us less safe and plays right into the hands of ISIS and other terror groups.

We are not in agreement, Mr. Speaker. What we would be doing would be 180 degrees different.
