President Trump’s defense of the Saudi regime undermines our security.  Our nation’s principles constitute the bedrock of our security.
The sanctions announced today are a welcome step in addressing the heinous murder of Jamal Khashoggi, which the Trump Administration initially tried to brush off.

Any new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada ought to advantage American workers, farmers, and businesses; benefit consumers; and strengthen our relationships with our neighbors.
On August 9, the Saudi-led coalition conducted an airstrike in Yemen that destroyed a school bus and killed forty children – using armaments allegedly provided by the United States.
I am pleased the House passed legislation tonight that imposes additional sanctions on entities supporting the terror organization Hezbollah.
America was founded as a haven for those fleeing poverty, war, and violence to find safety and build a better life.
