Republicans are doing everything they can to duck constituents on their plan to Make America Sick Again. The latest examples? Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) is now requiring constituents to make appointments to visit his office. Just two days earlier, Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) turned down town hall invitations from voters.  Members have a responsibility to hear out their constituents - even the ones they disagree with.

I want to thank everyone for being here… This conference is a misnomer. No one in America ought to think this party is in retreat. 

While The Trump Administration claims their unconstitutional Muslim ban is designed to keep America safe, the facts show that’s not the case. Today, the New York Times offers additional evidence: the ban is preventing doctors from serving communities across the country.

As the Trump Administration defends its unconstitutional Muslim ban in the courts, former diplomats and national security officials, as well as business leaders, are weighing in and voicing their opposition to the ban because it puts our nation and our troops at risk and is bad for business.

I am deeply concerned by President Trump's attack on Judge James Robart, which shows a complete disregard for both an independent judiciary and the Constitution. 

This week, Democrats introduced legislation to repeal the Trump Administration’s Muslim ban, which is unconstitutional and makes American less safe.

It is fitting that the United States will impose new sanctions on Iran for its ballistic missile test in contravention of U.N. Security Council Resolution 2231.
