WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement this morning announcing the House will vote on the Respect for Marriage Act this week:

Today, the House meets at 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. There will be “One Minutes” speeches.
Following “One Minutes,” the House is expected to recess. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the House will reconvene and debate the ten bills listed for consideration under suspension of the Rules.
Any recorded votes requested will be postponed until 6:30 p.m.
