FLOOR SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2020 d50a9146-b239-4fea-b2fa-4a21d
Press Release :
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is a hero for standing up and speaking the truth, knowing it might cost him retaliation from this corrupt commander-in-chief. His removal from the White House was nothing more than an act of retribution, an intrusion against the nonpartisan nature of our military and federal service. I hope Republicans will join in a bipartisan condemnation of this attack on our military personnel.

Leader's Report :
This week, the American people heard from the President in his State of the Union address. I was deeply disappointed he was so divisive in his speech, repeatedly misled the public, and attempted to distract from how his policies have failed working families.
Press Release :
The jobs report released this morning provides further confirmation that economic performance under President Trump is losing steam.
Speech :
Madam Speaker, history will remember this generation of Puerto Ricans for their perseverance, their courage, and their strength. Having endured two devastating hurricanes in 2017, they have had to cope with their heartbreaking aftermath, characterized by the Trump Administration’s failure to allocate resources properly, fairly, and effectively. Now, a series of powerful earthquakes have struck the island, causing additional damage and, sadly, loss of life. We have heard reports that, while much of the power transmission infrastructure that was rebuilt stronger after the hurricanes were able to hold up, the aging power plants they serve sustained damage.
