Archived Floor Update :
On Sunday, January 3, 2021, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m.  

The House will have a Quorum Call establishing a quorum in the House of Representatives for the First Session of the 117th Congress, by groups. 

Following the Quorum Call, the House will begin the election of Speaker of the House.  Members will vote by groups.  

After the election of the Speaker, the Oath of Office will be administered and Members will be sworn in by groups, beginning with First-term Members-elect.
