The House has completed general debate on H.R. 1112 – Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2019.

The House has now begun debate on the five amendments to H.R. 1112.  Following amendment debate, the House will take votes.  These will be the last votes for the week. 
FLOOR UPDATE:
At approximately 10:40 - 10:50 a.m., the House will take the following votes:
  1. Schneider Amendment Requires the FBI to annually report on the number of petitions concerning delayed transactions it was not able to make a determination on within the 10-day period 15 minutes
  2. (IF REQUESTED) Van Drew Amendment – Allows a licensed gun dealer who has contacted the National Instant Criminal Backgroun
