FLOOR UPDATE:
Members are advised that during the week of December 7th, 2020, the House will meet on Monday, December 7th at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business, with first votes of the week expected as early as 2:00 p.m.  

Members are reminded that following last votes on Friday, December 4th, Members are encouraged to remain in Washington.

Today, the House meets at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.  There will be up to fifteen “One Minutes” per side.

Following “One Minutes,” the House will begin one hour of debate on the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 3884 – MORE Act.

After debate on the Rule, the House will debate the twenty-three bills listed for consideration under suspension of the Rules.

Following suspension debate, the House will take votes, by groups.  These are the last votes of the day.

FLOOR UPDATE:
I am pleased to announce the House schedule for the First Session of the 117th Congress. When the new Congress convenes in January, we will be meeting in the middle of a raging pandemic. To that end, next year’s schedule is designed to ensure that the House will be productive and get its work done while keeping Members, staff, and House employees safe. This schedule continues the use of Committee work days, which were created and implemented earlier this year to facilitate the House’s work during the pandemic.
