Voters support the Inflation Reduction Act's generational climate action

The House stands ready to take up the historic Senate-passed Inflation Reduction Act this week, which will combat inflation, lower health care costs for millions of Americans, and deliver on Democrats’ commitment to combat climate change. Not only have economists highlighted the Inflation Reduction Act’s impact in addressing inflation and putting money back into the pockets of working Americans, but a bipartisan majority of voters support health care provisions within the bill that would lower costs and help to ensure more of our people have access to quality, affordable health care.
 
A poll released this month from Data for Progress continues this momentum, finding that “over 7 in 10 voters overwhelmingly back the Inflation Reduction Act, and the bill’s historic investments in clean energy enjoy bipartisan support.” More below:
