“Nearly fifty House Democrats came to the Floor today to highlight the harmful impact of President Trump’s unconstitutional Muslim ban,” said Whip Hoyer. “From a five year Maryland resident who was detained for hours at Dulles airport to refugees who are barred from entering the U.S. indefinitely, Trump’s ban is inconsistent with America’s values and makes our nation less safe. House Democrats will continue to urge Congressional Republicans to bring legislation to the Floor to reverse it.”
