TrumpCare Whip Count

The latest version of #TrumpCare would have the same harmful consequences as the bill Republicans were forced to pull from the Floor last month. So it should come as no surprise that the latest Whip count doesn’t seem to be going well for GOP leaders. Moderates just aren’t buying the latest push for TrumpCare – here’s a look at where a number of them stand:

Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL): “I’m not seeing much that I like.”

Rep. David Young (R-IA): He's still a no on AHCA.

Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-PA): “The MacArthur Amendment does not adequately address the concerns I had with the bill as it stood then.”

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA): Still a no on revised health care bill.

Rep. Ryan Costello (R-PA): Says he is a NO because of pre-existing conditions.

Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA): She’s still a no.

Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA): He’s still a no.

Rep. Brian Fitz (R-PA): Still a no

Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ): Still a no.

Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ): He's still a NO on amended GOP health care bill.

Rep. Mark Amodei (R-NV): He's still a NO on GOP health care bill.

Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ): “…Until I see a Congressional Budget Office score that says the revised bill achieves those goals I remain a no vote.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY): He was a "hell no" on the AHCA before, says he's amended his position to a "no."

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL): She's still a NO on GOP healthcare bill even if it includes the MacArthur/Meadows amendment.

Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA): As he was coming out of the Tuesday Group meeting, said he's a "no" on AHCA.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ): He is still not convinced on GOP health plan.

Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO): If vote on AHCA were today, he'd vote no.
