Putting aside the fact that Democrats worked with Republicans three times during the Trump Administration to ensure America paid its bills, and McConnell is now refusing to do the same, there’s an even bigger catch (because with Republicans, there’s always a catch): While McConnell claims that Democrats have to address the debt limit on their own, he’s using the filibuster to prevent them from doing so.
