Shutdown Sanity Quote of the Day

Wanted to be sure you saw today’s Republican quote of the day on the need for House Republicans to work with Democrats to pass legislation to fund the government, courtesy of Republican Senator Richard Burr from North Carolina:

“Shutting down the entire government over something never did make sense to the American people, still doesn’t and won’t in the future.”

We agree, and the clock is ticking as we approach the December 11 deadline. House Republicans have ten days to avoid another harmful, costly shutdown – which the American people, according to a recent poll, will surely blame on them.
