Republicans Cannot Fund the Government without Democrats

Congress has just seven legislative days to fund the government before the current continuing resolution expires on April 28. Since 2011, when Republicans took the majority, they have been unable to pass a single bill to fund the government without Democratic votes. Instead of risking a government shutdown as their divided conference argues amongst itself, Republicans should work with Democrats on a clean bill to keep government open.
