Note to Senate GOP: Polling on TrumpCare Not Looking Good

Bad news for Republicans: TrumpCare isn't getting any more popular. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll out this morning, 55% of Americans see the Republican TrumpCare bill unfavorably. And as Republicans move forward with repeal and continue their efforts to sabotage the Affordable Care Act, which is creating instability in insurance markets, Americans overwhelmingly blame the GOP for the consequences.

Highlights from the poll can be found here:

Three in 10 (31%) of the public hold favorable views of the American Health Care Act, which narrowly passed the House on May 4 and is now under consideration in the Senate.”

“A majority of the public (63%) continue to say that President Trump and Republicans in Congress are responsible for any problems with the Affordable Care Act moving forward…”

Few (14%) believe that the House-passed bill fulfills all or most of President Trump’s promises on health care.”
