Today, House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) held the third hearing in a series of hearings called “Make It In America: What’s Next?” After five years and 16 bills signed into law, and facing a different economic landscape today, the hearing series is working to explore how the economy has, and hasn’t, changed, and what families and businesses need to Make It In America today.

Over the course of four panels at today’s hearing, 18 House Democrats testified about the economic successes and challenges facing their districts and how the Make It In America plan should be updated to reflect today’s economic challenges and opportunities.
