Hoyer Statement on the Terrorist Attack in Mali

WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today on the terrorist attack in Mali:

“I was horrified to learn of today’s terrorist attack in Mali against Malian and international guests and employees of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako.  I extend my condolences to the families and loved ones of those who have been killed, and I pray for a complete recovery for those who have been injured.  The scourge of terrorism is a global issue, and I stand with those in Mali who are fighting to build a peaceful and stable society.  I support the Obama Administration's offer to provide whatever assistance is necessary to help the Malian government as it investigates this heinous attack.”
