WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today after the Supreme Court allowed President Trump's harmful and unconstitutional Muslim ban to stand as court cases against it continue:
“I am disappointed that the Supreme Court has decided to let the President’s Muslim Ban stand while various lower courts have ruled against keys aspects of his order. I expect that once the Court has had an opportunity to hear the full arguments in the case against the ban, it will rule it unconstitutional.”
