Hoyer Statement on Michael Flynn's Reported Conversations with Russia on Sanctions

WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today: 

"Reports that National Security Advisor Michael Flynn discussed easing sanctions with the Putin regime before the inauguration raise serious alarm bells.  We need a full investigation to determine what the Trump Administration promised Russia and if U.S. laws were broken."
