WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement on the Federal Communications Commission's vote to reverse Net Neutrality rules:
“I am disappointed that the Federal Communications Commission chose to reverse the net neutrality rules set by the Obama Administration, which I believe is a costly mistake and unnecessary. A free and open internet is a vital component of the global economy, and today’s action by the Republicans on the FCC threatens that.”
