Hoyer Statement on the Departure of Jerry Hartz as Floor Director for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi

WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today after Jerry Hartz announced that he will depart as Director of Floor Legislative Operations for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi:

“I join in thanking Jerry Hartz for his nearly three decades of service to the House of Representatives.  He has been instrumental in the management of Democratic efforts on the House Floor during some of the most consequential debates in recent years.  Jerry has worked closely with me and my staff, and he will be missed in the halls of Congress.  I wish him all the best in the next phase of his career.”
