Hoyer Statement on Baton Rouge Shootings

"I was shocked and appalled to learn of today's attack on police officers in Baton Rouge. My thoughts are with the families of the three fallen officers and those who were wounded. Violence targeting law enforcement must stop. We must not allow our country to fall into a cycle of violence. Nothing can justify attacks against those who daily risk their lives to protect and serve their communities. Those who perpetrated this horrific attack must be brought to justice."
