Hoyer Statement on Apparent Terrorist Attack in Berlin

WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today after an apparent terrorist attack in Berlin:

“The people of Berlin and all of Germany are in my thoughts and prayers tonight. This apparent terrorist attack comes during what should be a season of joy, but instead for the victims and their families it is now a season of mourning. Those responsible must be brought to justice. Nothing can ever justify such carnage and murder. The United States will always stand with our ally Germany against terrorism.”
