Hoyer Congratulates Newly-Elected Members of Expanded Democratic Leadership Team

WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today after the Democratic Caucus elected leaders to the expanded Democratic leadership team: 

"I join in congratulating Rep. Luján on his re-election as DCCC chair and Reps. Cárdenas, Jeffries, Bustos, and Cicilline on joining the expanded Democratic leadership team, and I thank all those who stepped up to run. I have always been supportive of electing more Members to leadership, and I believe that our caucus will be strengthened by these younger Members’ intellect, experience, and ideas.
