House Republicans continue to drag their feet on bringing to the Floor a bill to keep our government open. Here’s another look at how it’s playing out and a reminder of the consequences of the last GOP shutdown:

Fact of the Day:
During the 2013 Republican shutdown, 23 Head Start programs across 11 states did not get the annual grant they had been scheduled to receive. The 23 programs, which serviced 19,000 children, could not provide several early education programs and related social services.

31: Number of House Republicans who signed a letter threatening to vote against any spending bill, including one to keep the government open, unless Planned Parenthood is defunded.
