Today, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., His Excellency Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic will address a Joint Meeting of Congress. Permanent Congressional Staff who are appropriately attired and displaying a Congressional ID will be permitted to attend the speech as space allows.
Permanent Congressional staff may begin assembling in the Hall of Columns (first floor of the Capitol near the South Door) at 9:30 a.m. Chamber security will seat Congressional staff on the House floor as space allows. Staff are not permitted to use electronic devices on the Floor or in the Gallery of the Chamber. Unfortunately, this special access is only for permanent Congressional staff displaying a permanent Congressional ID and does not apply to interns.
