At approximately 1:30 p.m., the House will reconvene and take the following votes on H.R. 3992:
- Pappas Amendment – Requires the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to conduct a study on the number of job applicants impacted by age discrimination in the job application process and issue recommendations on addressing age discrimination in the job application process – 15 minutes
- Keller Amendment – Provides that this act shall not take effect until GAO conducts a study to determine whether not allowing claims of disparate impact discrimination by applicants for employment under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 has a significant negative impact on such applicants, and provides that the Act shall not take effect if the results of the study show there is not a significant negative impact on such applicants – 15 minutes
- Final Passage of H.R. 3992 – Protect Older Job Applicants Act of 2021 (Rep. Garcia (TX) – Education and Labor) – VOTE YES – 15 minutes
Following votes on H.R. 3992, the House will take the following votes on bills considered under suspension of the Rules:
- H.R. 1917 – Hazard Eligibility and Local Projects Act (Rep. Fletcher – Transportation and Infrastructure) – 15 minutes
- H.R. 1339 – Advanced Air Mobility Coordination and Leadership Act, as amended (Rep. Davids – Transportation and Infrastructure) – 15 minutes
**Additional votes are possible in this vote series.
**Members are advised that it is possible that the House may take additional votes on the Senate Amendment to H.R. 3684 – Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Build Back Better Act, and the remaining postponed suspensions today.
**Members are further advised that Rep.-Elects Shontel Brown (OH-11) and Mike Carey (OH-15) will be sworn in during this vote series.
**Members are advised that it is possible that the House may take additional votes on the Senate Amendment to H.R. 3684 – Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Build Back Better Act, and the remaining postponed suspensions today.
