LEADER'S FLOOR UPDATE
The House is now taking the following votes on H.R. 1836:
**Additionally, Members are advised that guidance provided by the Office of the Attending Physician directs the use of N95 or KN95 masks by all individuals on the House Floor, regardless of vaccination status. Members are also advised to exit the House Floor immediately after voting. Members are further strongly discouraged from congregating on the House Floor and in the surrounding areas during votes. Members, especially Members casting proxy votes on behalf of other Members, are expected to vote in a timely manner.
The House is now taking the following votes on H.R. 1836:
- Moore (AL) Amendment – This substitute replaces the base text of the bill with a reduced benefit which only covers select mission days, but no active-duty or inactive duty training days, which are essential to military readiness. Uses the same IRRRL rate pay-for as HR 1836 as amended – 15 minutes
- Republican Motion to Recommit on H.R. 1836 – VOTE NO – 15 minutes
- Final Passage of H.R. 1836 – Guard and Reserve GI Bill Parity Act of 2021 (Rep. Levin (CA) – Veterans’ Affairs) – VOTE YES – 15 minutes
