FLOOR UPDATE – 1 VOTE

FLOOR UPDATE:

The House is now taking the following vote on H.R. 6395 – National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2021, beginning with Group 1 (Rep. Abraham to Rep. Cohen):
      1. Neguse Amendment – Adds the text of H.R. 823, the Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy Act to the bill in addition to permanently withdrawing one million acres of public land surrounding Grand Canyon National Park that are already (as of 2012) subject to a 20-year moratorium on new mining claims. The withdrawal permanently protects an iconic location, tribal communities and sacred sites, local economies, and safe water supplies – Minimum of 5 Minutes
      **For the health of all Members and staff and to limit the number of people on the House Floor, Members are asked to come to the Floor only during their voting group's window and are encouraged to exit the House Floor immediately after voting.  As occupancy on the House Floor will be limited to facilitate social distancing, Members are advised that the House Gallery will be open and available to use during the vote series. 

      Following this vote, House will take the following votes, by groups:
      1. Pocan Amendment
      2. Dean Amendment
      3. Takano Amendment
      Following votes on amendments to H.R. 6395, the House will debate the motion to recommit to H.R. 6395.

      After debate, the House will vote on the motion to recommit.  Following the vote on the motion to recommit, the House will vote on final passage of H.R. 6395.  These will be the last votes for the day.
