FLOOR UPDATE – 1 VOTE

FLOOR UPDATE:
July 20, 2020
At approximately 10:20 - 10:25 a.m., the House will take the following vote on H.R. 6395 – National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2021, beginning with Group 1 (Rep. Abraham to Rep. Cohen):
  1. Omar Amendment – Establishes a policy framework for the accelerated withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan – Minimum of 5 Minutes
**For the health of all Members and staff and to limit the number of people on the House Floor, Members are asked to come to the Floor only during their voting group's window and are encouraged to exit the House Floor immediately after voting.  As occupancy on the House Floor will be limited to facilitate social distancing, Members are advised that the House Gallery will be open and available to use during the vote series. 

Following this vote, House will take the following votes, by groups:
  1. Jayapal Amendment
  2. DeGette Amendment
  3. Neguse Amendment
  4. Pocan Amendment
  5. Dean Amendment
  6. Takano Amendment
Following votes on amendments to H.R. 6395, the House will debate the motion to recommit to H.R. 6395.

After debate, the House will vote on the motion to recommit.  Following the vote on the motion to recommit, the House will vote on final passage of H.R. 6395.  These will be the last votes for the day.
