The House is now taking the following vote, beginning with Group 1 (Rep. Abraham to Rep. Cohen):
- Motion on Ordering the Previous Question on the Rule (H.Res. 1053) – VOTE YES– Minimum of 5 minutes
**Members are advised that there will be a moment of silence during this vote series to honor the passing of Representative John Lewis of Georgia.
During the vote series, the Majority Whip's office will notify Members when each group should proceed to the Floor to vote.
After the vote on the Previous Question, the House will observe a moment of silence to honor Representative John Lewis.
Following the moment of silence, the House will vote on adoption of the Rule providing for consideration of H.R. 6395 – William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021.
After votes, the House will begin one hour of general debate on H.R. 6395. After general debate, the House will begin consideration of amendments to H.R. 6395.
At approximately 5:00 – 5:30 p.m., the House will take vote on amendments, by groups. These will be the last votes of the day.
Following last votes, the House will complete debate on amendments to H.R. 6395. Any recorded votes requested will be postponed until Tuesday.
