The House is now taking the following vote on H.R. 2 – Moving Forward Act, beginning with Group 1 (Rep. Abraham to Rep. Cohen):
- En Bloc #3 in Part D Offered by Mr. Pallone – Provides for consideration of 28 amendments that will further improve energy efficiency and resilience for critical infrastructure; address greenhouse gas pollution and environmental justice issues at our nation’s ports; create a fund to invest in clean energy technologies and jobs; improve DOE’s laboratory infrastructure and bolster its clean energy research; improve underlying clean school bus and electric vehicle provisions; address PFAS and lead contamination; improve drinking water assistance to our territories; expand Tribal benefits and assistance available under the broadband sections to ensure access to affordable, reliable internet; ensure that Americans living in multi-family and government-assisting housing have access to reliable, high-speed broadband; protect pedestrians, bicyclists and other vulnerable road users; promote the safe use of child booster seats; and prioritize hospital and lab infrastructure projects that will address natural disaster preparedness and reduce wait times for results of COVID-19 tests – Minimum of 5 Minutes
