FLOOR SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 2, 2020
FLOOR UPDATE:
"On Monday, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for Morning Hour debate and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business, with votes postponed until 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the House will meet at 10:00 a.m. for Morning Hour debate and 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.
On Thursday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business. Last votes of the week are expected no later than 3:00 p.m.
We will consider several bills under Suspension of the Rules. The complete list of suspension bills will be announced by the close of business today.
The House will also consider H.R. 1140, the Rights for Transportation Security Officers Act, which would improve the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) frontline workforce. The legislation, led by Chairman Bennie Thompson, would ensure Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) are afforded the same rights and protections afforded to other federal workers.
Lastly, it is possible that the House will consider emergency funding supplemental legislation related to the Coronavirus."
