FLOOR SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 17, 2019
FLOOR UPDATE:
On Wednesday and Thursday, the House will meet at 10:00 a.m. for Morning hour debate and 12:00 p.m. for Legislative business. Members are reminded that when the House is considering appropriation bills, votes will occur after 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business. Last votes on Thursday are expected to occur between 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
We will consider several bills under Suspension of the Rules. The complete list of Suspension bills will be announced by the close of business tomorrow.
The House will continue consideration of H.R. 2740 – Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, Defense, State, and Foreign Operations, and Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 2020.
The House will also begin consideration of H.R. 3055 – Commerce, Justice, Science, Agriculture, Interior, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act, 2020. This will be the second 'minibus' that will come to the House Floor during this work period. It is my intention to pass all 12 appropriations bills through the House by the end of June. This package is yet another step toward the House completing its work to prevent another government shutdown at the end of the fiscal year."

"On Tuesday, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for Morning hour debate and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business, with votes postponed until 6:30 p.m. Members are advised that debate on amendments to H.R. 2740 will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and that late votes are expected following the 6:30 p.m. vote series.as announced by Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer
